About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Lead to join our team. This is an hourly, full-time position, ideal for someone with a passion for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring high standards in a fast-paced environment. As the Housekeeping Lead, you will play a vital role in supervising and guiding the housekeeping team to deliver an exceptional guest experience, consistently meeting cleanliness and organizational expectations.

What You'll Do

  • Supervise and support the daily operations of the housekeeping team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Ensure all rooms, common areas, and facilities are cleaned and maintained to the highest quality standards.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure ongoing compliance with cleanliness and safety protocols.
  • Organize schedules and assign tasks to housekeeping staff for efficient workflow management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure an excellent guest or customer experience.
  • Train new housekeeping staff and provide ongoing guidance to maintain productivity and quality.
  • Monitor inventory levels for cleaning supplies and equipment and communicate purchasing needs.
  • Address and resolve any housekeeping-related issues or guest concerns promptly.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, health, and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in housekeeping or a related field, with some leadership responsibilities preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, for team and guest interactions.
  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to uphold high cleanliness standards.
  • Physical ability to perform housekeeping tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Capability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to address potential challenges with professionalism.
  • Experience in using housekeeping equipment and familiarity with cleaning techniques and products is advantageous.
