The Role
The Admissions Services Manager will oversee the Application Specialist teams in their day-to-day activities. The manager will ensure that recruitment of prospective applicants, pipeline management, and all student services expectations are met by the Application Specialists teams across multiple university partners. The Admissions Services Manager will assist in the continued building of the admissions department at Project Kitty Hawk by ensuring tactical needs are being met while supporting the strategic vision of the department.
What you'll do:
  • Management of Application Specialists: Ensuring best practices are implemented and adhered to for student outreach, pipeline management, and student conversions. Leading quality assurance of Application Specialists by monitoring individual performance on key metrics and leading the development of individual contributors.
  • Admissions Services Development: Partnering with Manager of Admissions Operations and Partnership Success and Director of Admissions to continue the development and success of the internal Admissions Services team at Project Kitty Hawk. Duties include development and analysis of recruitment strategy and execution.
  • Team Building: Assist in hiring, onboarding and developing new Application Specialists.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner with various departments outside Admissions including Operations, Student Success, Partnership Success, and Marketing to ensure holistic success at PKH.
What you bring:
  • Bachelors degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, or student recruitment
  • 2+ years of experience in Higher Education leadership
  • Experience supporting online or non-traditional academic programs
  • Familiarity with enrollment forecasting, capacity planning, and conversion modeling
  • Experience building or scaling in-house admissions teams
  • Strong change-management and process-improvement background
  • Proven experience in quality assurance and performance management of student-facing teams
  • Experience in Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms
