About This Position
Job Purpose
The Junior Product Master Data Analyst supports the planning, maintenance, and accuracy of ERP master data as it relates to operations. Working under the guidance of senior team members, this role helps ensure that product-related ERP master data is entered correctly, maintained consistently, and aligned with company processes. The position collaborates with various departments to support operational efficiency and gain exposure to cross-functional workflows.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Adheres to company policies and presents a professional, positive attitude at all times.
• Assist in maintaining accurate ERP system records, including product, product sites, cost, Bill of Materials (BOM), and routing details.
• Support in reviewing and validating item master attributes to ensure information is up to date and reliable.
• Collaborate with Research & Development, Project Management, and Operations personnel to collect data and prepare information for system updates.
• Help track ERP system data changes throughout the Product Life Cycle and communicate updates to project management and other teams as needed.
• Provide administrative support for product setup, category selection, BOM specifications, and routing updates under senior team guidance.
• Assist in identifying and reporting data or process inconsistencies, escalating issues to senior analysts for resolution.
• Maintain and update government-required attributes in the ERP system with supervision.
• Support inventory disposition and obsolescence processes by preparing reports and following established policies.
• Generate and process Product, Parts, and Promotional (PPP) change request forms under direction.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by gathering data and contributing to process documentation.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of workflow documents and technical/non-technical procedures.
• Work with accounting personnel to provide accurate data for costing as requested.
• Manage assigned tasks, prioritize workload effectively, and meet established deadlines.
• Other duties as needed or assigned.
Qualifications
• Associate's degree (A.A./A.S.) preferred.
• A minimum of one (1+) year of experience in product data management with an ISO 9001 certified organization preferred.
• A minimum of one (1+) year of experience in ERP systems preferred.
• Experience in lieu of education will be considered.
• Knowledge of upstream and downstream manufacturing processes including production, project management, quality assurance, supply chain, etc.
