• Perform certified DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on light and medium duty vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair various types of truck equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records according to established standards.
• Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding repair estimates and findings.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Manage parts inventory and equipment on the service truck independently.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years experience in a related field, or 5 years experience with a different combination of education.
• Ability to provide and maintain a set of necessary hand tools.
• Current and valid DOT medical card and ability to pass DOT physical prior to employment.
• Must be at least 21 years old due to interstate commerce regulations.
• Valid state-of-residence drivers license with a clean driving record.
