About This Position
GENERAL PURPOSE
To perform quality control administrative functions, test raw materials, in process testing accurately record results,
maintain quality control dashboard, calibration, clean laboratory instruments, in accordance with standard operating
procedures (SOPs), Good manufacturing practices (GMP), company policies, and adhere to quality standards and
compliance. This role will involve follows and communication with outside laboratories, ensure products meet
specifications, support the laboratory with general maintenance, documentation tasks, and other tasks and duties
assigned by Quality control management and leadership.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform chemical and physical testing of raw materials and in- process samples using approved methods and
Standard operating procedures.
Calibration activities, including maintaining a calibration binder and scheduling out calibration activities.
Review of data, laboratory notebooks.
Maintain the Quality Control Dashboard and all Quality Control folders.
Prepare solutions, reagents, mobile phases, column washes, needle washes and other solutions required.
Maintain accurate and organized documentation in laboratory notebooks, work sheets, test logs, logs, data
sheets in quality compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices and standards.
Support Laboratory activities that are assigned.
Report any deviations, failures and non-conformances to the Quality Control Manager.
Comply with FDA, and other government regulatory agencies both domestic and international.
Assist in continuous improvement activities, maintain clean office, laboratory, working areas.
Perform additional tasks and duties assigned by the Quality Control Manager and leadership.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: 2-year Associate degree in a scientific discipline at minimum.
Experience:
Basic safety knowledge of laboratory environment, experience in a laboratory environment, any previous experience in regulated
industry will be considered.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Basic knowledge of laboratory practices and safety protocols. Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
Familiarity with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google office. Strong organizational, record-keeping skills,
basic math skills ( fractions, percentages, conversions). Attention to detail, team player, and commitment to quality
compliance.
Certification or License: 2- year Associate Degree minimum
