About the Role:

As the Software Development Manager, you will lead a team of engineers in building scalable, secure, and innovative software that enhances our digital platforms and Customer experience. You’ll drive architecture decisions, lead AI adoption in development workflows, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, efficient technology solutions that support JSX’s commercial and operational goals.


A Day in the Life:

Your day will be fast-paced and collaborative, balancing strategic leadership with technical execution. You’ll mentor your team, manage multiple development initiatives, and ensure each project aligns with company objectives and technical best practices. Additional responsibilities include:


  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of software solutions using Angular, .NET, React JS, Flutter, and other technologies.
  • Architect scalable, secure, and maintainable systems aligned with business priorities.
  • Champion a culture of innovation, code quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee e-commerce development, focusing on travel or ticketing solutions.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to optimize deployment and reliability.
  • Guide the adoption of AI coding assistants to improve productivity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Product on roadmaps, A/B testing, and feature optimization.
  • Mentor and coach developers, conduct code reviews, and drive best practices.
  • Ensure technical alignment, compliance, and successful delivery across multiple projects.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and continuously refine processes and tools.

  • What Makes a Successful Software Development Manager?

    We’re looking for someone who is:


  • Technically Proficient: You bring deep hands-on expertise in full-stack development and architecture.

  • Required Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on software development experience (Angular, .NET required)
  • 2+ years in a technical leadership or managerial role
  • Proven experience developing and managing e-commerce platforms, preferably within the travel or ticketing industry

  • Skill, Licenses, & Certifications:
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum environments and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
  • Knowledge of AI-assisted development and cloud-based architecture
  • Proficiency in Angular, .NET, and at least one other programming language (Python, JavaScript, or C#)
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and system design best practices
  • Experience integrating payment gateways and Customer-facing web applications
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment


  • Pay & Perks:

    Compensation is $135,000 to $145,000 annually. This was established after performing market research and is aligned with our approach to compensation.
