This role plays a crucial part in managing renovation, relocation, and general property management initiatives across various locations. The Facilities Manager will optimize space utilization and resource allocation, ensuring compliance with building regulations and organizational requirements. This position requires independent work and advanced knowledge to adapt methodologies to effectively tackle complex challenges in property management. The role significantly impacts the organization's operational efficiency and employee satisfaction by creating and maintaining a conducive working environment.Accountabilities
  • Oversees day-to-day property management and facility troubleshooting efforts.
  • Provides project management for office openings and moves, coordinating space planning and build-out work.
  • Ensures facilities comply with OSHA regulations and addresses issues in collaboration with risk management.
  • Manages furniture needs for the organization, including ordering, deliveries, and repairs.
  • Completes lease abstracts and maintains lease files, reviewing construction documents.
  • Coordinates with the People team to equip new hires workspaces appropriately.
  • Manages security cards and coordinates safety training and installations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in facilities management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of facilities management experience with knowledge of building codes and renovation procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage a diverse workload and shifting priorities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed for smooth execution of office move-related tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Solid analytical, decision-making, researching, and organizational capabilities.
