Overview
CT- 440 Special Projects Systems Integration group requires test engineers to lead and/or assist in submarine combat and weapons systems electronics physical and electronic integration for US and foreign contracts. The candidate will be required to lead and/or assist cross-agency system engineering efforts ranging from the development/review of system specifications, trade studies, and interface control documents; review/assessment of system technical data; leading/coordinating platform and system integration teams; managing/performing oversight of vendors; and coordinating risk management and requirements management activities. This candidate will also be required to perform technology investigations and trade-studies, identify/resolve risks, and validate methods to ensure producible end products. The candidate will interface with US and foreign government program and technical offices, US and foreign company’s engineers/representatives, and other Electric Boat Departments.

- Must have strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, be highly motivated as well as have the ability to interact with other organizations in an engineering environment.
- Must be a demonstrated self-starter.
- Must have ability to work in a team environment.
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 4 or more years’ experience in combat and weapons systems electronics development, integration, installation and test is required
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- Travel domestically or internationally may be required
- Specific experience in submarine combat/network systems is highly preferred.
- Project management experience is also preferred
