This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to shape and scale the long-term financial sustainability of a mission-driven global organization. The position is designed for a strategic yet hands-on fundraising leader who can build a predictable and diversified revenue engine while personally engaging in high-impact donor relationships. You will play a central role in advancing large-scale educational and cultural initiatives with global reach and long-term significance. Working closely with executive leadership and the Board, you will align fundraising strategy with organizational priorities and ensure strong donor engagement and stewardship. This role blends strategic planning, relationship management, and operational execution in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment. It is ideal for a leader who thrives in building systems while actively driving fundraising outcomes on the ground.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 3–5 year fundraising strategy aligned with organizational goals, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and donor diversification.
- Personally manage and cultivate relationships with major donors, high-net-worth individuals, family foundations, and grant-making organizations to secure transformational gifts.
- Lead donor stewardship activities including follow-ups, reporting cycles, impact communication, and long-term relationship management.
- Partner closely with executive leadership and the Board to support donor engagement, networking, and strategic fundraising opportunities.
- Align key programs and initiatives with donor interests to strengthen funding opportunities and long-term philanthropic partnerships.
- Oversee hands-on fundraising operations including CRM management, data integrity, donor segmentation, and performance tracking.
- Produce donor-facing materials such as proposals, reports, dashboards, and fundraising collateral to support engagement and accountability.
- Track and analyze fundraising performance against KPIs, ensuring continuous optimization of strategies and outcomes.
- Mentor and guide a small fundraising team while actively contributing to day-to-day execution and future team scaling.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in senior nonprofit fundraising, development leadership, or executive-level nonprofit management.
- Proven success securing major and transformational gifts, including contributions of $100K+ from individuals, foundations, or institutional donors.
- Strong track record of building long-term donor relationships and sustaining high levels of donor engagement and retention.
- CFRE certification required; Bachelor’s degree required, with additional education in nonprofit management considered a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in lean, fast-growing organizations requiring both strategic leadership and hands-on execution.
- Strong systems-thinking ability, with experience managing CRM platforms, fundraising pipelines, and complex donor ecosystems.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in Panjabi is a strong advantage.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% internationally across North America, the United Kingdom, and Australia for donor engagement and events.
