Job Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an AI Program Manager – Drug Discovery Networks in France.
This is a high-impact, customer-facing role at the intersection of artificial intelligence, pharmaceutical R&D, and large-scale collaborative data networks. You will drive execution across federated drug discovery initiatives that enable leading pharma and biotech organizations to train and deploy AI models without moving sensitive data. The role combines program leadership, scientific collaboration, and strategic partner engagement across complex multi-stakeholder environments. You will help translate scientific and network-level objectives into structured execution plans, ensuring alignment across internal teams and external partners. Working closely with ML scientists, product, and business development teams, you will play a key role in scaling existing networks and launching new ones. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving, technically complex environments and is motivated by real-world impact in drug discovery innovation.
- Drive execution across one or more federated drug discovery networks, ensuring alignment between pharmaceutical partners, internal teams, and technical workstreams.
- Translate network and scientific goals into structured execution plans, including data onboarding, model training cycles, benchmarking, and delivery milestones.
- Support the setup and expansion of new networks by scoping opportunities, validating concepts with partners, and contributing to early-stage design and partner onboarding.
- Actively contribute to business development by identifying potential pharma and biotech partners and supporting early engagement discussions.
- Manage end-to-end federated network operations, including partner coordination, data harmonization, model aggregation, and delivery of outputs such as weights and inference containers.
- Own partner engagement on a day-to-day basis, leading discussions with senior scientific stakeholders and ensuring continuous alignment and progress.
- Drive adoption of federated AI models within partner organizations and support integration into real-world drug discovery workflows.
- Collaborate closely with product, ML science, and engineering teams to improve delivery, usability, and impact of models across networks.
- Identify opportunities for network expansion, new modalities, and increased value creation across existing collaborations.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in program management, scientific/technical delivery, consulting, partnerships, product operations, or similar roles in complex multi-stakeholder environments.
- Strong experience working with senior scientific stakeholders, ideally within pharmaceutical or biotech organizations.
- Solid understanding of complex technical or scientific environments, with the ability to quickly learn new domains such as drug discovery, molecular ML, or ADMET.
- Strong product mindset with the ability to translate technical capabilities into partner value and execution priorities.
- Proven ability to build and scale programs or initiatives from early-stage setup through to execution and growth.
- Exceptional ownership, reliability, and ability to drive progress across multiple parallel workstreams.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to prioritize effectively, identify blockers, and escalate when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Nice to have: experience with molecular machine learning, drug discovery workflows, consortium-based collaborations, or technical product rollouts in enterprise environments.
Benefits:
- Competitive compensation package, including early-stage virtual share options.
- Remote-first working model with flexibility to work from anywhere.
- Wellbeing budget, mental health support, home office allowance, co-working stipend, and learning budget.
- Generous annual holiday allowance.
- Opportunity to attend in-person company gatherings at European locations several times per year.
- Work within a highly experienced, execution-focused team from leading scientific and technology organizations.
- Exposure to cutting-edge AI applications in pharmaceutical research and real-world drug discovery impact.
