  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems against vulnerabilities and unauthorized access
  • Conduct security audits, compliance checks, and assessments to ensure adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements
  • Develop, manage, and test backup and recovery procedures; maintain and support disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to provide system performance data, capacity trends, and operational insights that inform system design, build, and configuration activities
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend appropriate Linux-based solutions that optimize performance and resource utilization
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and system issues; provide user and technical team support as needed
  • Maintain detailed documentation on system configurations, procedures, operational changes, and infrastructure updates
  • Support development or refinement of IT policies, procedures, and operational standards as requested

  • Hands-on experience administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise Linux/Unix systems across multiple environments
  • Strong understanding of secure configuration, patching, user and service management, storage integrations, and system performance monitoring
