You will lead cross-functional trial teams responsible for planning and executing complex clinical studies across multiple phases and geographies. The position combines strategic oversight, hands-on operational leadership, and strong risk management to ensure trials are delivered on time, within budget, and in full regulatory compliance. You will play a critical role in translating clinical strategy into executable plans while maintaining inspection readiness and quality standards. This is a high-impact leadership role where decisions directly influence trial success, patient outcomes, and regulatory approval pathways.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end clinical trial delivery while ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and cross-functional alignment:

  • Lead cross-functional trial teams to develop and execute operational plans from study start-up through completion
  • Own overall trial delivery including timelines, budget, quality standards, and key milestones
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and compliance risks, escalating issues when necessary
  • Ensure clinical trials are conducted in alignment with global regulatory requirements and internal procedures
  • Support inspection readiness activities and participate in health authority inspections and internal audits
  • Drive trial-level process improvements and contribute to broader organizational optimization initiatives
  • Mentor and support team members, fostering engagement, collaboration, and professional development
  • Collaborate with quality and functional partners to ensure continuous compliance and execution excellence
Requirements

This position requires deep clinical trial expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to operate in complex global environments:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Life Sciences or related scientific discipline
  • 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or clinical research environments
  • At least 2 years of experience leading multiple aspects of global clinical trials
  • Strong operational knowledge across clinical trial phases I–IV and end-to-end execution
  • Proven leadership in matrixed, cross-functional, and global team environments
  • Strong analytical, financial, and decision-making skills with a focus on execution quality
  • Experience managing risk, compliance, and inspection readiness activities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead without formal authority and influence diverse teams
  • Experience mentoring or coaching team members
  • Willingness to travel approximately 15–20% as needed
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary range ($137,000 – $235,750 USD annually)
  • Annual performance-based bonus eligibility
  • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life, disability, and supplemental insurance options
  • Retirement benefits including pension and 401(k) savings plan
  • Generous paid time off including vacation, sick leave, and holidays
  • Additional paid personal and family time allowances
  • Employee wellbeing, legal, and support programs
  • Flexible, remote-first work structure with occasional travel.
