Oregon Sleep Associates (OSA), an AASM‑accredited, patient‑centered sleep medicine practice, is seeking a compassionate and detail‑oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our growing team. What You’ll Do- Welcome patients and complete thorough intake for both clinic and telehealth visits.
- Assist providers during appointments by taking accurate, organized medical notes.
- Coordinate and schedule medical appointments, diagnostic sleep tests, and follow‑up care.
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits to support smooth patient experience.
- Help process prescription refills, referrals, and other clinical support tasks.
- Record basic patient vitals, including blood pressure and weight.
- Jump in on additional administrative tasks as needed to support the team and clinic operations.
- 1+ year of experience in a medical or clinical support setting.
- Comfort with rooming patients and taking basic vitals (blood pressure, weight).
- Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for helping patients.
- Excellent multitasking abilities, reliability, and a positive, professional attitude.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Athena EHR is a plus—but we’re happy to train the right candidate!
