Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle recruiting by drafting job postings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews and offers with department leaders
• Maintain accurate employee records, including Paychex data related to roles, compensation, and organizational structure
• Process employee lifecycle changes such as new hires, terminations, PTO, and leaves of absence
• Run payroll accurately and on time, ensuring proper deductions, taxes, and system updates
• Administer benefits enrollment and changes for health, dental, life, and disability plans
• Conduct onboarding, safety training, open enrollment sessions, and company-wide HR updates
• Lead workplace safety initiatives through walkthroughs, policy enforcement, and employee training
• Coordinate performance review processes and support leadership with coaching and employee development
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies
• Complete I-9s, audits, compliance reporting, and required documentation
• Handle employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations with professionalism and consistency
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• 4+ years of progressive HR generalist experience
• Strong working knowledge of HR practices and employment law, paired with a continuous-learning mindset
• Proactive, solution-oriented approach with the ability to take initiative and work independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize, adapt, and manage competing demands
• Genuine passion for building impactful programs and supporting the success of others
• Authorized to work legally in the United States.
