Summary:
The Account Manager supports profitable revenue growth across Prinova's Value-Added divisions by managing the day-to-day execution of assigned customer programs. This role partners closely with Sales, who are responsible for originating opportunities and setting overall customer strategy, and focuses primarily on Value-Added business while supporting initiatives across all Prinova divisions. The Account Manager owns execution and follows projects end-to-end, from initial opportunity handoff through commercialization and ongoing supply. The role ensures clear communication, internal alignment, and accountability across cross-functional teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:
- Serve as a day-to-day commercial point of contact for assigned accounts, owning execution and coordination once opportunities are originated and scoped in partnership with Sales.
- Own and manage a portfolio of existing customers, driving organic growth through program execution, service excellence, and incremental expansion within approved scope.
- Support new business opportunities following handoff from Sales, focusing on onboarding, commercialization, and execution of contracted programs.
- Manage customer programs end-to-end from initial handoff through first production, ongoing supply, and lifecycle management.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Project Management, Product Development, Operations, Planning, Quality, Customer Service, and Finance—to ensure alignment, accountability, and timely execution.
- Ensure customer requirements, commercial commitments, and operational constraints are clearly communicated and understood across internal teams.
- Monitor program performance, timelines, risks, and deliverables, proactively identifying issues and driving resolution.
- Support pipeline visibility, forecast accuracy, and internal planning through accurate CRM data and program tracking.
- Partner closely with Sales to ensure smooth opportunity handoffs, clear ownership, and consistent customer communication.
- Maintain strong product, process, and market knowledge to support customer needs and identify incremental opportunities within existing accounts.
- Represent Prinova in customer meetings, site visits, and cross-functional discussions as needed to support account execution.
- Follow and enforce cGMP guidelines and applicable SOPs in all customer programs and interactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of customer execution and business operations.
Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in business, science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in contract manufacturing, nutrition, or a related industry, focused on customer relationship management, program execution, and cross-functional coordination.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven ability to manage and grow existing customer portfolios while delivering revenue and margin objectives.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Excel, and pipeline or program-tracking tools to support forecasting and reporting.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate customer and internal discussions.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Project Management, Quality, and Finance.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support key accounts and onsite engagements.
Travel:
Up to 20% travel within the assigned territory and to other locations in the US to attend training and support business needs.

- Work environment is normally in an office setting. Must be able to make frequent rounds in a warehouse environment
- Ability to view a computer screen and type for extended hours
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work around a variety of different smells and aromas
- Ability to adjust work schedule as business needs require
