About This Position
Position Summary: |
The Subcontract Representative (SR) is the point of contact for all of the managerial aspects of the subcontract for low, moderate or high-hazard work and is responsible for oversight of a subcontractor's performance to include the safety, security, and quality requirements under a subcontract. This is a matrixed position reporting to the Senior Manager, Subcontractor Representative in Strategic Planning and Integration (SP&I) As the “home” organization, SP&I is responsible for developing the policies, procedures and systems that will be implemented across the project and ensuring that those policies, procedures and systems are appropriately implemented by the SRs. SP&I will also be responsible for training and qualification of the personnel. SRs will take day-to-day direction from the N3B operations programs (ER and CH-TRU) to ensure they are supporting the priorities of the programs. This position requires creativity and flexibility to meet new challenges and the expertise to apply appropriate solutions efficiently. |

Education & Experience: |
A Bachelor's degree in a closely related field or a closely related field with at least twelve (12) years of related experience. However, a combination of education and relevant experience wherein the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the position’s duties and responsibilities have been adequately demonstrated is acceptable. BUSINESS ASSOCIATION: Serves a prime consultant and external spokesperson for the organization on highly, significant matters relating to policies, capabilities, and long-range goals and objectives. IMPACT: Decisions affect the financial, employee, or public relations posture of the organization. Erroneous decisions or recommendations would normally result in failure to achieve goals critical to the major objectives of the organization. |
