Quality Technician at TWE Nonwovens US Inc – Fort Wayne, Indiana

What You’ll Do:
As a Quality Technician, you’ll be the eyes and ears of quality during your shift — partnering closely with production to maintain excellence at every stage.
Champion Safety
- Follow and promote all Safety Guidelines & Procedures (LOTO, Guarding, etc.)
- Actively support a safe and organized work environment
Ensure Product Excellence
- Perform physical testing on raw materials, in-process production, development trials, and composites
- Conduct hourly production line inspections and accurately record results
- Prepare and maintain Master Control Samples
- Assist with PPAP testing and Certificates of Conformance
- Inspect nonconforming or suspect material and recommend disposition
- Ensure calibrations are current and compliant
Drive Continuous Improvement
- Follow up on corrective actions and action plans
- Review and maintain document and data control
- Actively participate in the 6S process and maintain housekeeping standards
- Collaborate with line personnel to ensure quality standards are clearly understood and upheld
Support the Team
- Provide administrative support for the Quality Department
- Assist production personnel with tasks supporting the production line
- Partner with Customer Service and other departments as needed
- Interpret and follow company policies and procedures

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer and math skills
- Ability to operate testing equipment and perform lab testing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and understand basic correspondence and documentation
- Comfortable presenting information in one-on-one or small group settings
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to work in hot and cold manufacturing environments
- Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods depending on task
- Ability to lift or move materials up to 50 lbs
Schedule Requirements
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
- Availability to work every other weekend as needed to support a 24/7 continuous operation
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience in nonwovens manufacturing
