Crane Memorial Hospital is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part Time Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role supports infection prevention efforts by cleaning patient rooms, public areas, and workspaces according to hospital standards.

Essential Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, offices, and public areas
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces and remove trash
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
• Stock supplies such as paper products and soap
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and report maintenance needs

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred, especially in healthcare
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
