Forklift Operator at Kelowna Truck & RV – West Kelowna, British Columbia

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely moving, positioning, and staging RV units throughout the dealership lot using specialized equipment. This role ensures inventory is positioned safely and efficiently to support sales displays, customer deliveries, and service operations.

This position plays a key role in maintaining safe lot conditions while supporting overall dealership efficiency.

• Operate a forklift to safely move, position, and stage RV units across the dealership lot.
• Assist with receiving and unloading incoming RV inventory.
• Position units for customer viewing, deliveries, and service appointments.
• Work closely with the Sales and Service teams to ensure units are ready when required.
• Conduct visual inspections of units when moving them and report any damage or concerns.
• Maintain safe operating procedures when moving large units around the lot.
• Assist with organizing RV inventory to maintain an efficient and professional lot layout.
• Ensure equipment is operated safely and report any mechanical issues.
• Support general lot organization and maintain a safe work environment.

• Previous forklift operating experience required, ideally with large units such as RVs, trailers, or similar equipment.
• Valid forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong awareness of safety procedures and equipment operation.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently.
• Experience in an RV, automotive, or equipment environment is considered an asset.
