What You’ll Do
As an A/V Rack Specialist at Realm, you'll play a crucial role in our operations. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Assemble AV equipment racks per approved shop drawings, schematics, and rack elevations.
Mount AV components including DSPs, amplifiers, switchers, control processors, power distribution units, and network devices.
Fabricate and terminate audio, video, control, and network cabling to industry standards.
Perform proper cable management, labeling, lacing, and strain relief to ensure serviceability and airflow.
Power up racks safely and verify proper voltage, grounding, and sequencing.
Record, update and maintain IP address, serial and MAC address spreadsheets.
Prepare racks for shipment, including securing equipment and protecting cabling.
Qualifications
Understanding of AV signal flow (audio, video, control, and network.)
Ability to read and interpret schematics, rack elevations, and wiring diagrams.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new skills in the A/V field.
A professional attitude and meticulous attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license.

Benefits & Perks
Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Location: Norwalk, CT / On the Road
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
Paid Time Off: 13 PTO days (plus +1 day per year of employment)
