We are seeking a Second Shift Production Supervisor to lead our evening production team. This role requires strong print industry experience, leadership ability, and a solid understanding of large-format printing and finishing workflows.
This position plays a key role in ensuring jobs are produced accurately, efficiently, and on schedule while maintaining Altitude Color’s high production standards.
Position Details
Schedule:
Full-Time – Second Shift
4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Overtime required when production demands require.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate second-shift production staff across printing, finishing, and packaging departments
Ensure jobs are produced according to specifications, quality standards, and deadlines
Monitor and manage workflow through production stages
Troubleshoot production issues and resolve bottlenecks quickly
Communicate with first-shift leadership and management to ensure seamless job handoffs
Train and mentor production staff on equipment operation and production procedures
Enforce company safety policies and operational procedures
Maintain production efficiency and team accountability during evening operations
Assist with scheduling labor and prioritizing jobs to meet deadlines
Maintain clean and organized production areas
Report production issues, equipment concerns, and staffing needs to management
Required Qualifications
3+ years experience in large-format or digital printing production
Prior supervisory or team leadership experience in a production environment
Strong understanding of large format print workflows and finishing processes
Ability to manage multiple jobs and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and team leadership skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred Experience
Experience with large format printing equipment and finishing processes such as:
Dye sublimation fabric printing
UV roll-to-roll printing
SEG graphics production
Vinyl and banner production
CNC or digital cutting systems (Colex or similar)
Sewing and fabric finishing workflows
Experience with production workflow software such as ShopVox, Onyx, Caldera, or similar RIP/workflow systems is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Overtime available during peak production periods.
