About This Position

Job Summary:

The Home Health Development Officer is responsible for driving the growth and sustainability of the organization’s home health services. This role combines strategic business development, community engagement, and operational oversight to ensure compliance, quality care delivery, and financial performance for Suncrest Home Health.

Reports to the Chief Medical Officer

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to support organizational growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand home health services and market share.
  • Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, including physicians, hospitals, and community organizations.
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Monitor quality assurance programs, patient satisfaction, and performance metrics.
  • Assist in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control measures.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, OASIS, and accreditation standards.
  • Proven track record in fundraising, grant writing, and community engagement.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in home health, healthcare management, or business development.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using office software, electronic health records, and scheduling systems.

• Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure during busy periods.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent exposure to communicable diseases and other conditions common in a clinic environment.

• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.

• Occasional lifting and carrying of office supplies or materials.
