This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a DevOps & Cloud Architect in United States.

This role is a senior technical leadership position responsible for designing and evolving scalable, secure, and highly automated cloud and DevOps ecosystems. You will operate at the intersection of cloud architecture, DevOps engineering, and Salesforce delivery, ensuring seamless integration between development and operations across enterprise platforms. The position requires deep expertise in cloud-native architecture, CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, and modern DevSecOps practices, with a strong focus on AI-driven optimization. You will define architectural standards, guide engineering teams, and implement automation strategies that improve deployment speed, system reliability, and operational efficiency. This is a highly influential role where you will also shape governance, security, and best practices across cloud and Salesforce environments. The environment is fast-paced and innovation-oriented, offering the opportunity to work with advanced tooling, emerging AI capabilities, and large-scale distributed systems.

Accountabilities:
  • Design and architect scalable cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure solutions across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
  • Define and implement DevOps strategies, frameworks, and best practices to improve delivery efficiency and system reliability.
  • Lead the design, optimization, and automation of CI/CD pipelines for cloud and Salesforce-based applications.
  • Implement Salesforce DevOps processes using Salesforce DX (SFDX), including metadata-based deployments and CI/CD integrations.
  • Establish and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Design and implement containerized and orchestrated environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Ensure system performance, reliability, security, and cost optimization across all cloud environments.
  • Build and enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to support proactive incident detection and resolution.
  • Drive AI-powered DevOps initiatives, including automation of CI/CD workflows, testing, code reviews, and operational processes.
  • Define governance frameworks for safe and effective use of AI tools in development and operations workflows.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, Salesforce, and architecture teams to streamline delivery pipelines and improve engineering productivity.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to DevOps engineers and cross-functional teams.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging tools, technologies, and automation practices to continuously improve DevOps maturity.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure architecture roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Proven experience with Salesforce DX (SFDX) and Salesforce deployment processes and environments.
  • Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and distributed system design.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK stack.
  • Hands-on experience with Git-based workflows and branching strategies.
  • Strong familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and emerging AIOps practices is highly desirable.
  • Cloud or Salesforce certifications are a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills in fast-paced environments.
Benefits:
  • Competitive annual salary range of $164,000 – $188,500 depending on experience and location.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
  • Generous paid time off, holidays, sick days, and volunteer time off.
  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave.
  • Flexible benefits including transit support and voluntary coverage options.
  • Wellness incentive programs and employee support initiatives.
  • Life insurance at no cost and additional optional benefits including pet insurance discounts.
  • Strong focus on professional development, mentorship, and leadership growth.
  • Opportunity to work with advanced cloud, DevOps, and AI-driven automation technologies in a modern engineering environment.
