Job Overview:
The Coordinator of Perioperative Support Services collaborates with the Manager to guarantee cohesive efficiency across the Perioperative departments. This role includes overseeing supply chain charging and reconciliation, managing inventory and specialty cart management for multiple departments within Perioperative Services, and providing assistance with scheduling and staffing.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Minimum 1 Year of Supply Chain/Materials Management Experience
- Minimum 2 Years of Perioperative Support Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Certifications and Licenses Required:
- Certified Supply Chain Manager Certification within 1 year of start date
- Data Analytics Certification within 1 year of start date
- SSGI Leadership Certification within 1 year of start date
Scheduling Requirements:
- Shift- 8:00am-4:30pm
- Monday-Friday
- Full Time/Day
Essential Functions:
Supply Chain Management and Coordination:
- Ordering of supplies for Central Supply
- Oversight of case cart system for the operating room
- Oversight of anesthesia supply
- Oversight and support for PACU, Endoscopy, and Same Day Surgery
Scheduling:
- Coordination of scheduling workflow
- Block management
- Oversight guidance for the operating room schedulers
Charge Reconciliation:
- Charge reconciliation for the operating room
- Charge revenue and WQ management
- Assist Central Supply with loaner intake and coordination
Payroll:
- Payroll input for OR PACU Central SDU
Direct Reports:
- Anesthesia tech
- Case cart coordinator
