A well-established and growing construction firm is seeking a Vice President of Construction to lead field operations, drive process improvement, and oversee all construction project execution. This leadership position is critical to ensuring consistent delivery, safety, and quality while aligning with the company’s strategic goals.

• Direct Reports: Project Engineer, Procurement Specialist, Contract Administrator, Safety & QC Director

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead operational strategy and execution across all construction projects

• Champion organizational values and drive accountability using EOS/Traction principles

• Align construction operations with business growth and client success

Team Development

• Build and lead a high-performing team aligned with the company’s people-first culture

• Coach and mentor staff across all operational roles

• Promote a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and ownership

Client Relations & Project Delivery

• Ensure projects meet scope, budget, timeline, and safety/quality standards

• Maintain strong client relationships with proactive communication and problem-solving

• Ensure client satisfaction with every phase of project delivery

Process & System Optimization

• Serve as the company’s “Process Champion” to optimize workflows and system utilization

• Maintain and refine operational systems, including construction management software

• Monitor project and team performance to ensure alignment with company goals

Qualifications

• 7+ years of multifamily or commercial construction experience

• 3+ years in a senior leadership role

• B.S. in Construction Management preferred

• Experience with construction management software required

• Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and improve operations

• Strong communication, leadership, and client-facing skills
