Asbestos Litigation Senior Counsel (Defense) at Top Tier Reps LLC – Sacramento, California

Our client, a prestigious Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Counsel to join its Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit.

This role is open to candidates based in Los Angeles, Oakland, or working remotely within California.

Salary range: $200,000 to $220,000 a year

The successful candidate will play a strategic role in managing complex, high-stakes asbestos litigation matters. This is a rare opportunity to join a nationally recognized firm with a collaborative culture, sophisticated clients, and meaningful work.

• Lead and manage all phases of asbestos litigation, including case strategy, motion practice, depositions, and court appearances

• Represent corporate clients in complex litigation across California

• Coordinate with a high-performing litigation team on multi-jurisdictional matters

• Provide strategic counsel and contribute to long-term client relationships

• 10+ years of asbestos litigation experience, all from a defense standpoint

• Proven expertise in motion practice, depositions, and courtroom advocacy

• Active member of the California Bar and resident of California

• Strong academic credentials (Top-tier law school preferred)

• Experience from a top national law firm or similar setting

• Highly professional, organized, and capable of managing multiple complex matters

• No freelance, temporary, or plaintiff-side litigation backgrounds

• Excellent judgment, strategic thinking, and written/oral communication skills
