Shift:
Monday-Friday; 7am-3:30pm

Rate:
$18/hour

Role:
We are looking for an Production Associate with a genuine passion for excellence and a desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company. The ideal candidate will have experience in light or medium assembly operations. This individual will be mechanically inclined with high energy and a passion to learn new skills. Previous assembly experience preferred but we are willing to train qualified individuals.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Perform assembly of electrical components in both a manual and semi-automated environment.
• Performs electrical and mechanical installations on machines and other equipment.
• Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
• Positions and/or aligns components and parts, either manually or with hoists.
• Uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Keeps equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, and calling for repairs.
• Interprets technical assembly instructions in written and computerized format.
• Conducts quality control checks as required to ensure correct assembly.
• Documents actions by completing productions and quality forms.
• Identifies any defective items and handles them according to established procedures.
• Participates in daily shift meetings & continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Attend training as required.
• Adhere to company accountability standards pertaining to attendance, safety, and workmanship.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent, strongly preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and follow detailed assembly instructions.
• Ability to work in a manual assembly operation and willingness to cross train and learn new tasks.
• Works well independently and with others.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Possesses a strong safety management mindset.
• Has a strong focus on quality control.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
• Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very small.
• Must have good eyesight, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to differentiate between colors.

Working Conditions:
• Climate-controlled indoor space with open cubicles.
• Exposure to outside elements when walking to and from buildings.
• Exposure to loud noises.
• Possible exposure to electrical hazards and heavy equipment.
