Position Overview:
Performs the primary functions of a certified registered nurse anesthetist and administers anesthetics to surgical, obstetrical, dental and emergency patients.
Position Highlights:
- Starting Rate: $91.35 + per hour (commensurate with experience)
- Sign On Bonus:
- $40,000 – 2-year commitment
- $70,000 – 3-year commitment
- $100,000 – 4-year commitment

Key Responsibilities:
• Observes the patient's condition and monitors the patient who is anesthetized with continued reassessments.
• Takes necessary measures to counteract unfavorable conditions. Keeps accurate records noting pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative anesthesia condition.
• Must be proficient in IV sedation, Regional Blocks,ie. SAB, Epidurals, and General Anesthesia.
• Assists in the administration of the anesthesia department inventory control, and the general running of the department.
• Promotes teamwork within the Operating room and Hospital, with the Medical Staff, nursing personnel and other departments.
Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Licensed by North Carolina Board of Nursing. Graduate from an accredited school of anesthesia. Maintains continued education credits for AANA re-certification. Pursues programs of continuing education consistent with requirements of Granville Medical Center. Participates in educational conferences and updates, maintains licensure as a registered nurse and a certified registered nurse anesthetist. Maintains professional knowledge and skills to all areas of responsibilities.
