OrthoVirginia’s St. Mary’s practice is an extension of the OrthoVirginia network. This network has over 100 orthopedic specialists at more than 30 sites and is the state’s largest provider of orthopedic medicine and therapy. Located on Bremo Road, the OrthoVirginia St. Mary's location offers a wide array of orthopedic services to help patients get their full range of motion back.

Pre-anesthesia assessment

Obtains and/or verifies patient consent

Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient

Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia

Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition

Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements

Current license as a registered professional nurse

Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education

Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
