Ambulance Logistics Specialist in Chico, California at Enloe Medical Center

Pay Range: $21.28/hr - $25.01/hr - $28.73/hr
*Please note, the highest starting rate as a new hire is $25.01/hr, based on applicable experience

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Ambulance Logistics Specialist ensures that all medical equipment is in working order and are functioning to CHP standards. They coordinate ambulance and equipment maintenance, check vehicle maintenance logs and coordinate service. They keep the leadership team, operations and field crews informed and up to date on issues, trends and relevant information. They ensure that ambulances, stations, necessary equipment and supplies are in working order and appropriately stocked according to county and are operational to facilitate the timely and efficient departure of EMS crews.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:
Desired:
Knowledgeable in the operation of a medical transportation service both emergency and non-emergency
Previous experience in an EMS setting

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
Minimum:
Current BLS certification
Current CA driver’s license
Eligible to be insured under the Medical Center’s Liability Policy with DMV Report (and minimum age 21)

Has the ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment in the performance of tasks. Possesses knowledge of record-keeping principles and procedures. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
