Job Summary:
-
Serves as the primary driver of the Mobile Health Center and assists with the delivery of disease prevention and management, wellness care, and care navigation to participants. Assists with preparations and ongoing maintenance of the Mobile Health Center such as ensuring overall cleanliness before, during, and after visits; performing equipment checks; maintaining inventory supplies; and performing other duties required to support the Mobile Health Center’s readiness to accept participant encounters.

Education:
-
Position requires an associate’s degree in health education, wellness, or fitness-related field of study or 4 years of directly related experience. Current certification as an emergency medical technician, medical assistant, or nursing assistant preferred.

Registration/Certification/Licensure:
-
Unexpired, unsuspended driver’s license and the ability to drive the mobile health center to and from events.

Experience:
-
Position requires a minimum of 1 year of related experience providing or assisting with clinical care. Familiarity and proficiency with paper, electronic medical records and/or other designated software platforms to perform documentation on participant encounters.

Other Requirements:
-
Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.

Requires the ability, competence and confidence to drive the mobile health center as part of routine job duties.

Effectively advocates for quality participant safety and satisfaction as a daily practice.
-
Demonstrated proficiency of computer skills necessary to effectively complete position requirements.
-
Previous experience and demonstrated professionalism in effectively communicating with all participant populations and in promoting a positive service atmosphere. Utilizes organization-wide communication techniques as a daily practice.

Ability to work independently in a multi-task environment producing quality work.
