Quality Auditor at Anchor Packaging Inc – Lanse, Michigan

A Quality Auditor is responsible for verify the quality of the products that are produced during the manufacture of disposable food-service packaging. Duties include: perform process audits in all operations; enter data into the various databases; assist or perform various lab testing requirements and measurements as assigned by Director of Quality; perform sanitation inspection audits; report and analyze critical information to operations to correct the quality issues in the various departments; follows all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications include: Associate's degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a laboratory or auditor environment is preferred. SPC trained or qualities experience a plus. Ability to proficiently use a computer to send and receive email correspondence, enter audit data into SPC software and other systems, and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Access, Excel, and Word. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; must be at least 18 years of age; ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
