About This Position
Pay Range: $37/hr - $47/hr - $58/hr
*Please note, the highest starting rate as a new hire is $47hr, based on applicable experience
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Executive Board Coordinator provides direct support to the Enloe Health’s executive management team and Enloe’s Board of Trustees. The coordinator works directly with the CEO, hospital senior leadership and board members to develop and execute board meetings, subcommittee meetings, social events and educational conferences. They will be the primary point of contact for board of trustee bylaw interpretation and policy development. The coordinator will oversee board of trustee orientation and will proactively work to develop or coordinate board education. The coordinator will develop and maintain strong relationships with board members, leaders, employees, a wide variety of community members and is expected to carry out their job duties with a warm, professional and highly customer-focused approach. The position requires extensive coordination and collaboration with all aspects of the hospital. The coordinator may work some evenings and weekends as needed. Occasional travel is required.
EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:
Minimum
Two years of experience in board management, meeting planning, or executive support.
Previous event coordination experience.
Desired:
Experience in board management and board bylaws
Experience in healthcare or hospital environment
Bachelor’s degree
Experience working with executive leaders, board members and physicians
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
Must have excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain a high degree of rapport and interact professionally with leaders, board members, co-workers, employees, consultants, attorneys, and the public at large. Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality at all times. Must be able to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment. Takes and transcribe minutes. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Internet document retrieval experience. Strong written composition skills. Organizational and multi-tasking skills essential. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
