About This Position
We are looking to hire a person that has a strong background in Inpatient coding and basic DRG assignment. This person would be responsible for reviewing our recommendations and updating outcomes for reporting purposes. These outcomes in general include the things listed below:
• Client agree/disagree with recommendation
• Additional cc/MCC, Procedures
• Number of code changes
• Types of coding changes
• Final DRG
• Types of query
• Query outcomes
• EPIC experience a plus
• Basic Inpatient DRG knowledge required
• Inpatient Coding Knowledge required
• CCS preferred but will accept the RHIT or RHIA credential
