If so, we would love to speak to you about our (Sr) Account Manager opportunity. Our client is a fully remote worldwide communications agency that services clients at the forefront of technology. They are a group of incredibly smart, savvy individuals who's offering is a blend of public relations, content marketing and multimedia. The Senior Account Manager will play a pivotal role in working in partnership with founders and helping their visions and their stories take shape online and IRL. Does this sound like you? Who You Are:
- You have 7+ years of communications experience within an agency setting.
- You have the ability to demonstrate authority and take command of a room with enthusiasm
- You have a core understanding of and passion for technology with demonstrated industry expertise in a defined practice area
- You have the ability to inspire engagement that leads to lasting loyalty across accounts and your team
- You are able to establish authority, maintain satisfaction, and uphold trust with clients
- You are active on LinkedIn and regularly write personal thought leadership pieces that support your practice area
- You have worked with founders and are well versed in the startup environment
- You demonstrate command over industry knowledge and proven results to better challenge client ideas, offer alternative strategic recommendations, and establish trust among clients
- You are able to tell stories that haven't been told before and create/inspire new narratives across accounts
What You Will Do:
- Present ideas during pitch meetings with client prospects and/or lead pitch meetings
- Maintain existing relationships with business, broadcast and influencer media and leverage those contacts to expand your team's network of go-to friendlies and support pitching efforts
- Facilitate necessary media training sessions for all client launches
- Set annual KPIs, and maintain personal growth roadmap to continually challenge goals and demonstrate success
- Regularly attend key networking events and conferences to broaden connections
- Source and attend one industry-specific conference per year to expand knowledge and meet/vet potential new business
- Brainstorm and advise clients on new feature angles and thought leadership opportunities to elevate visibility
