OB Tech in Aurora, Illinois at Rush Copley Medical Center

Position Summary:
The OB Tech assists with the care and comfort of mother, infant, and family; performs a variety of clinical and environmental tasks under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

Position Requirements:

• Education: High School diploma/GED. Associate’s degree preferred.
• Certifications: American Heart Association CPR required.
• CNA or Medical Assistant strongly preferred.
• OB Technician or Surgical Assist Certification strongly preferred.
• At least one year of experience in Women's Health, Obstetrics, Labor and Delivery, or the OR preferred.
• Special Skills: Bilingual (Spanish) abilities highly desirable.
• Ability to function in emergency situations required.
