About the role

You will work as part of a small test team supporting multiple software applications in varying stages of deployment.

What you'll do

• Know modern automated testing methodologies and technologies.
• Responsible for manual testing when the coding of an automated solution is impractical or not desirable
• Maybe required to work with the application developers to support performance/load testing to fully evaluate the application capabilities.

Qualifications

• Used SQL queries for data validation (Oracle, Postgres, MySQL)
• Expert in Selenium WebDriverEmphasized experience in the area of writing automated code (Java) as opposed to simply click and record
• Must be able to evaluate developer assignments, independently understand requirements, and engineer tests to evaluate best path scenario as well as probe for possible failure conditions
• Must know to use an IDE to code (ex – IntelliJ, Eclipse, NetBeans)
• Interactive in a Linux environment (ex - Bash scripting, vi)
• Expert in writing test plans, cases, procedures, scripts, and scenarios
• Demonstrated history with manual and automated test processes
• Ability to work well in a constantly evolving work environment
• Ensure the QA and testing approach references all known vulnerabilities and best practices
• Conduct and report testing using a repeatable process based on industry best practices
• Maintain and update the test environment
• Development skills, as automated testing is a lot of writing code.Solid hands-on experience testing experience with testing tools such as JMeter and /or Selenium.
  

Highly Desired Skills

• Tested complex systems with external integration points
• Knowledge of unit test frameworks such as Junit and Postman
• Must work well in a group environment and collaborate with team members
• Familiarity with Source code management and integration (ex - GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins)
• Experience in an Agile environment
