About This Position
Job Overview:
Key member of the Foundation Team, with a strong project management skills and concentration in events coordination, development reporting, donor stewardship initiatives and project management. This position will also be responsible for effective and efficient use of resources and the donor management system to measure and track development activities. Assists with data updates and office projects if necessary. The list of essential duties is not exhaustive and may include other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Highly organized, detailed oriented with ability to work & deliver results in a fast-paced setting & navigate a complex organization
- Ability to work independently with a collegial spirit
- Excellent communication skills with strong interpersonal relationship skills; sense of humor
- Strong Computer Skills with proficiency in MS Office, Donor Management System/Raiser’s Edge NXT, Constant Contact & additional Web-Based Platforms
- Flexibility to work morning/nights & weekends as required
- Willingness to work in-person as required with remote flexibility for work-related travel & other needs as appropriate
Preferred:
- 2+ years office experience: fundraising, marketing/PR, sales, business development preferred
Essential Functions
Event Strategy & Coordination
- Responsible for project management with planning and execution for fundraising events, third-party events, and donor-related events, including cultivation, stewardship, ribbon-cuttings, groundbreakings, donor tours, etc.
- Develop and advance event or project timelines and execute on details of event/project strategy in timely manner.
- Manage the production of all materials, communications, and logistics.
- Develop strategic communications and briefing materials such as committee or leadership updates, key attendee profiles, event scripts/remarks and run of shows.
- Oversees Annual Employee Giving Campaign including development and execution of strategy and timeline, create engagement opportunities such as internal tabling and unit rounding, prepare communications and manage tracking and reporting to meet established goals.
Development Stewardship, Reporting & Communications
- Working with Gift Officers, manage implementation of an effective donor stewardship plan by generating reports and utilizing a communication matrix to prepare materials to streamline processes.
- Support prospecting efforts to include, but limited to conducting preliminary research, oversee list requests, donor or prospect wealth screening process with tracking, analysis and mailings.
- Develop, manage and maintain donor recognition processes, including but not limited to tracking naming opportunities, plaques and recognitions, organizing gift agreements, overseeing installation and regular updates to electronic displays and plaques.
- Coordinate and update content for Foundation website and other marketing initiatives.
- Manage and develop strategic relationships with donors, leaders and community members.
Grateful Patient Support
- Working with VP, Asst. VP & Sr. Major Gift Officer, assist with procuring patient lists for preliminary research to review with gifts team.
- Support prospecting efforts to include, but limited to oversee patient and donor list requests, wealth screening process with tracking, analysis and mailings.
- Develop and manage logistic planning for gift notifications with physician and clinical departments for gifts of $1,000+
- Coordinate with gift officers as a liaison for project plans and manage the operation processes.
Gift Management & Office Support
- Assist with daily gift processing as needed, including confirming gift information, processing checks/credit cards, and scanning backup for review.
- Provide back-up coverage for Executive Asst. including assisting with meeting schedules for Vice President and other staff, invoice processing, phone and general email coverage.
- Assist with general office/administrative support items.
