The Vaccination Clinic Pharmacist will report to the Business Clinic Coordinator and Clinical Pharmacy Manager.
Job Overview
Help keep Hawaii's community safe! Times Pharmacy is looking for pharmacists who are willing to travel and provide vaccinations in various settings (such as, but not limited to, the following: businesses, drive-thru clinics, care homes, and Times Pharmacies) across the state. We are looking to hire friendly and motivated individuals to help us immunize the community while providing the best customer experience possible.
Hours
- Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays and/or Sundays – Most days start around 7am and end around 5pm, but may potentially start earlier (around 5AM) or end later (around 7 PM).
- Hours will vary based on clinic demand (0-40 hours per week)
- Position begins in July or August and ends around mid-November (~3-4 months)
Responsibilities and Duties
- Meet professional standards set forth by Times Pharmacy
- Always conduct work in a professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service
- Follow all safety policies and operating procedures
- Collaborate with team members to determine and prepare the appropriate amount of supplies for each vaccinating clinic
- Punctual to work, arriving to the office one hour prior to the clinic start time to prepare supplies and travel to the clinic site
- Pack the appropriate amount of vaccines and maintain the cold chain to ensure vaccination quality control
- Log vaccination inventory for check-out and return
- Arrange and organize vaccination work station
- Manage and delegate appropriate tasks to other team members
- Counsel and address patient's health and safety concerns, which may include monitoring patient for adverse effects and emergency response protocol
- Properly prepare and safely administer vaccination(s) per clinic protocol
- Positively respond and resolve any customer-related issues
- Ensure vaccination consent forms are properly completed and sign off on those forms
- Safe and proper disposal of needles
- Additional duties to be assigned as needed

Qualifications
- Current Hawaii Pharmacist license
- Immunization Certification
- Must have current BLS certification
Education
- B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree (required)
