Avera Flandreau is seeking a Patient Flow Representative!

Job Summary

• Serves as a member of the provider’s Care Team in coordinating the flow of patients through managing phone calls, schedules, supplies, equipment and assisting provider and nurse with various clinical responsibilities as requested.
• Serves as the first point of contact for the patient to the Care Team.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education and three to six months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience required.
• Written and oral communication skills and medical terminology experience preferred.
• Computer knowledge and skills preferred.
• Previous experience with ICD 9 or coding preferred.

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, occasional weekend; PRN (as needed)

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $17.50 - $22.00 per hour
