Assistant Professor - Neurology, Faculty at University of Texas Medical Branch – Galveston, Texas

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Assessment, intervention, and consultative services for neuropsychological evaluations
• Psychotherapy with patients and/or family members
• Neuropsychological evaluation for patients with a wide range of adult neurological disorders (e.g., epilepsy, dementia, stroke, multiple sclerosis)
• WADA testing
• Participate in clinical research studies
• Participate in teaching/instructing medical students and residents
• Complete all paperwork, billing, etc., for patient-related services
• Adhere to internal controls established for Department
• Perform related duties as required and directed by Departmental Chair

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

PhD degree or equivalent, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Clinical Neuropsychology.

SALARY:
Commensurate with experience.
