Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for demonstrating knowledge of and utilizing safe and appropriate patient care protocol as set forth in the standards of practice and the unit/department policy and procedure manual relating to the needs of the patient.

Education and/or Experience

• Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Licensed Registered Nurse in South Dakota required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required within 6 months of hire.

Work Schedule

• Day Shift, 7:30am-5:00pm, occasional holidays; 56 hours every 2 weeks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $26.25 - $39.25 per hour
