Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Salem, OR

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 per hour

Hours: Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm

Job Description: As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations across various departments. You will be responsible for overseeing daily administrative tasks, coordinating schedules, and supporting team members. The ideal candidate is highly organized, resourceful, and able to handle multiple tasks with a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and events.
  • Prepare and process documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees and handling HR-related paperwork.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications.
  • Organize and maintain files and records, both physical and digital.
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Support various administrative functions as needed across departments.
  • Perform data entry and maintain databases.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience in an administrative coordinator role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with office equipment (copiers, printers, etc.) is a plus.
