Campbell Supply Company is looking for a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Technician to help keep our technology running smoothly across all locations. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for IT support issues, assist with cybersecurity initiatives, and contribute to ongoing projects that improve efficiency and data integrity companywide.
Be the first line of support for helpdesk tickets and IT requests, ensuring timely updates and resolution.
Provide desktop support for hardware, software, printers, and business-specific applications.
Document all troubleshooting steps in the ticketing system for accurate recordkeeping.
Communicate ticket status clearly and escalate complex issues to the IT Manager as needed.
Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, including user training and phishing simulations.
Support disaster recovery, data integrity, and paperless conversion projects.
Help with network and hardware upgrades—cabling, switches, wireless devices, desktops, servers, and monitors.
Image, configure, and deploy new hardware to ensure compliance with company standards.
Collaborate with departments to support IT needs and routine tasks.
Participate in training opportunities to enhance your technical skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; IT coursework or certifications preferred.
Entry-level IT experience or strong technical aptitude with eagerness to learn.
Basic understanding of networking, Microsoft Office, and desktop support.
Familiarity with cybersecurity principles a plus.
Strong problem-solving, organization, and time management skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and support users with varying levels of technical ability.
Team player who can also work independently.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform mobility tasks (walking, standing, bending).
Willingness to travel occasionally to other Campbell Supply locations (approx. once per month).
