About This Position
Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, coordination, observation and evaluation of nursing care function and performance relating to nursing team, concerned with patient care, treatment, safety and comfort during assigned shift.
Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required. Current license to practice in New York State. Must possess current CPR certification. ACLS and Certification must be obtained within six (6) months. Minimum of 1 year of acute care-telemetry or cardiology experience required. Must take and pass the ACH cardiology intensive course during the orientation period.
Typical Working Conditions:
Some exposure to communicable diseases or toxic substances, ionizing radiation, therapeutic preparations and other conditions common to a healthcare environment.
Typical Physical Demands:
Requires a full range of motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts, carries and pushes items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours.
Salary: $35.98-$47.73 hour plus shift differentials:
3-11pm $7.00
11p-7a $8.00
Weekends $2.20
Eligible for sign-on bonus
