Project Manager - Acumatic ERP at Thompson Concrete Management LTD – Carroll, Ohio

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our ERP transition from ProContractor to Acumatica. This is a key role coordinating between our internal team and the IT consulting firm responsible for the implementation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, and skilled at managing people and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the full Acumatica ERP implementation project.
• Coordinate and schedule meetings between internal staff and the IT consulting firm.
• Monitor project progress, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
• Review current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
• Ensure employees complete required training related to the new ERP system.
• Communicate clearly with all stakeholders, providing updates and resolving issues as needed.
• Support change management and help drive user adoption of the new system.
• Identify potential risks in the implementation process and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure accurate and secure migration of data from ProContractor to Acumatica.
• Plan and manage system testing phases (unit, integration, and user acceptance testing).
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including meeting notes, decisions, and change requests.
• Coordinate stabilization activities and address issues after system launch.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing IT or ERP implementation projects (Acumatica experience a plus).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Understanding of business processes in construction or similar industries preferred.
• Experience working with external consultants or vendors.
• Familiarity with ERP architecture, integrations, and reporting tools.
• Ability to validate and troubleshoot data during migration.
• Experience creating or managing user training programs.
• Proven testing/cutover leadership
• Change management credentials and evidence of driving adoption across office and field.

This is a contract or temporary position requiring a hands-on, proactive approach.
