The Yard Jockey, Freight Consolidation is responsible for the safe movement and repositioning of trailers within the RLS yard.

• Operate equipment in accordance with company safety policies

• Safely and accurately reposition trailers within the yard and into appropriate doors

• Check and fill yard truck fluids

• Perform preventive maintenance on yard trucks

• Attain predetermined performance metrics as outlined by the Warehouse Manager

• Perform all other duties as assigned, contributing to a team-focused work environment

Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Travel Requirements:

• None

Physical Requirements:

• Work outdoors in all four seasons

• Frequent in/out of yard tractor

• Shift Available:
  
  1st shift
  Tuesday- 6 am to 12 pm
  Wednesday- 6 am to 12 pm
  Thursday- 6 am to 12 pm
  Friday- 6 am to 6 pm
  Saturday- 6 am to 4 pm
  
  Although these are the estimated range of daily hours for this shift, it is important to note that there is NO DEFINED END TIME for this role. We end the day when the work is completed.
