Cardiac Exercise Physiologist- PRN - Rotating

WORK LOCATION : Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231
WORK HOURS : PRN --Rotating shifts as needed- Weekend on call.

VASCULAR LAB DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHTS:

• Learn new techniques for various stress testing

HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelor's Degree Exercise Physiology Required AND
• Master's Degree Exercise Physiology Preferred
• 3 months experience in cardiac diagnostic stress testing or cardiac rehab Required
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days required
• EP-C - Certified Exercise Physiologist Upon Hire preferred OR
• RCEP - Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist Upon Hire preferred

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Perform Treadmill Exercise Stress Test, Nuclear Stress Test and Pharmacological Stress Test.
• Ability to accurately interpret rest and stress 12 lead ECG and document any abnormalities.
• Demonstrates knowledge of radio isotopes used in Nuclear Cardiology
• Reports critical findings promptly to interpreting Cardiologist..
• Demonstrates knowledge of quality control and quality assurance.
