Meat Cutter at Lynn's Inc. & Affiliates – Custer, South Dakota

The Meat Cutter reports to the Meat Manager. The Meat Cutter is responsible for inspecting, cutting, trimming, and preparing meat products according to store quality standards. This role ensures proper product rotation, cleanliness, and compliance with food safety procedures while delivering exceptional customer service.

• Cut, trim, and prepare meat products per store standards
• Maintain freshness and rotate products in coolers and retail cases
• Prepare fresh ground meats and maintain grinding logs
• Assist customers with requests and special orders
• Keep work areas and equipment clean and sanitary
• Receive and inspect product deliveries
• Support seasonal promotions and cross-merchandising
• Assist with department inventories as directed
• Comply with all safety, sanitation, and company policies
• Maintain confidentiality and represent the store professionally
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Display strong customer service and product knowledge
• Able to work in cold environments and handle meat safely
• This position is Full-Time
