Pay: $19.00/hour
OVERVIEW:
Efficient, output and quality orientated operating of production machines in compliance with all specifications and standards applicable to the assigned machine(s)
PERFORMANCE METRICS:
- Work in the lab testing parts
- Read all paperwork, and check paperwork and parts each morning to avoid rejects
- Work in metal prep to blast and mask parts for painting
RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:
Major Responsibilities
- 2nd Shift Hours are 4:00pm-2:00am Monday thru Thursday
- Operating the assigned machine(s) according to the instruction, training and allocation from supervisor
- Aligning materials to the machine(s) according to the work ticket
- Ensure required material is available and pro-active action if material is missing
- First visual examination of all manufactured products and immediate report to supervisor if any problems detected in regard to quality of produced part
- Perform quantity checks
- Following the production and quality processes appliable
- Packaging into designated boxes in accordance with instructions or work order
- Fill, sign and maintain all required documents
- Perform a proper workflow according to the work ticket steps with correct quantities, dates, signatures
- maintaining a clean and safe equipment and workplace
- Follow accident prevention & safety regulations
- ensure usage of designated PPE (safety glasses, gloves, etc.) specific to the assigned machine(s)
- Inform supervisor immediately in cause of any interruption in production or in case of any problem with machine operation
Second Shift Unique Responsibilities
- Attendance is critical, unexcused absences are grounds for immediate termination
- Second shift cannot operate unless two employees are onsite
- Second shift must be more flexible regarding areas of work since there is a reduced staff level during second shift
